76ers Last Minute Futures and Player Props

Just one.

That’s all you need.

Ben Simmons isn’t known as much of a deep threat. In fact, according to this tweet by BetMGM, Boban Marjanovic, one of the NBA’s tallest players, had two more three-pointers (4) than Simmons did (2) last season.

So as the Philadelphia 76ers prepare for their season opener at 7 p.m. tonight against the Washington Wizards, a number of the player props are focusing on Simmons’ three-point shooting.

Simmons 3-pointer props

At most PA sportsbooks, the over/under for Simmons’ three-pointers is set around 0.5. BetMGM is offering +625 on the over, with the under priced at -1100. Fox Bet has the over boosted to +1000. And Barstool Sportsbook has the same total, but with the over paying +700, a return that has caught the attention of Barstool’s Big Cat.

BetRivers will pay out +500 if Simmons even attempts a three-pointer, a skill Simmons has supposedly targeted for improvement.

So there are myriad ways to get into the action before the Sixers’ season tips off in a couple of hours. Let’s take a quick look at some betting lines before the teams take the court.

BetMGM wager will triple your money if Embiid scores over 30

If you’re not interested in betting on Ben Simmons tonight, there are a few wagers available on Philadelphia’s other superstar too.

BetMGM has a Lions Boost that will pay out +200 if Sixers center Joel Embiid scores 30+. DraftKings also has a wager that pays out +100 if Joel Embiid scores over 7.5 points, which seems pretty safe.

And over at Fox Bet, you can get +300 odds if Embiid has a dunk assisted by Ben Simmons.

Traditional lines have the 76ers as seven-point favorites

If you’re more interested in a traditional wager tonight, Fox Bet has Philadelphia as a seven-point favorite in the home opener.

The Sixers are -300 on the moneyline, while Washington is +230. The game’s total is 230.5

Last chance for preseason futures bets

Tonight also marks the last chance to make a futures wager before the season starts. BetRivers has the Sixers as +400 to win the Atlantic Division, +800 to win the Eastern Conference and +2000 to win the NBA Championship.

In player award futures, Ben Simmons is +1000 to be the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year and +10000 to win the league’s MVP award. Embiid is +4000 for the MVP award and +1400 for the Defensive Player of the Year award.

Sixers rookie Tyrese Maxey is +800 to win the Rookie of the Year award.

And team-wise, Philadelphia’s win-percentage total is set at 58.5% for the season. Most sportsbooks have moved team totals to percentages this season in case some games are canceled due to the coronavirus.

Last call for preseason wagers before tipoff

Tipoff is almost here.

But there’s still time to add a few more wagers and a little more action to tonight’s schedule.

Maybe Ben Simmons’ shooting will even bring you some winnings.

All you need is one.
