Which Dustin Johnson will show up this week?
Johnson finished near dead last at the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village Golf Club last week, flaming out with a brutal +16 and missing the weekend cut.
But less than a month ago, Johnson won the Traveler’s Championship with a red-hot -19, crushing a course that was primed for scoring. And now the PGA heads to another course that could produce some low scores for the 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota.
So which Dustin Johnson will show up? Oddsmakers expect the good one, having installed DJ as the tournament favorite at 11-1 in a slightly weaker field.
The 3M Open tees off Thursday at 7:50 a.m. Let’s take a look at the tournament, along with all the odds at the best PA sportsbooks, to get you ready for some golf betting.
Inconsistent Johnson looking better with big names absent
Part of Johnson’s position as a favorite stems from who won’t be in Minnesota this week. Jon Rahm, who won last weekend’s Memorial Tournament at 18-1, is not in the field. The same goes for Tiger Woods, who birdied his first hole with 5-1 odds, then faded to +6 and 40th place.
Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy and a number of other big names are also skipping the event. That leaves Johnson in a good spot. BetRivers, PlaySugarHouse and DraftKings Sportsbook have him at +1100 to win. Right behind him are Tony Finau and Brooks Koepka at +1200. Paul Casey and Tommy Fleetwood, who is playing in his first tournament since the PGA restart, round out the top five at +1600.

Pricing is available on the entire field. There are also odds posted for finishes in the top five, 10 and 20, as well as group betting wagers and other prop bets.
Television coverage will air on the Golf Channel on Thursday and Friday from 2:30-6:30 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, the tournament will be broadcast on the Golf Channel from 1-3 p.m. and CBS from 3-6 p.m.
DraftKings daily fantasy contests include prize pools of $2.5 million and $300,000
Daily fantasy leaders DraftKings and FanDuel continue to provide impressive contests for the PGA action. At DraftKings, this week’s PGA Tour Millionaire has an entry fee of $20 and a first-place prize of $1 million. The contest has a total prize pool of $2.5 million and will also pay out $100,000 to second and $50,000 to third. The $5 entry Drive the Green contest pays out $50,000 to first on a much cheaper investment.
Over at FanDuel, a $15 entry PGA Eagle contest has a total prize pool of $150K and pays out $30,000 to first.

British Masters betting also available at some sites
BetRivers, PlaySugarHouse and DraftKings Sportsbook also have some odds available on this week’s British Masters on the European Tour. Lee Westwood is the favorite in that event at +900, followed by Thomas Detry (+1400), Eddie Pepperell (+1800) and Ross Fisher (+2500).
Across the Atlantic, the PGA Tour heads west to Minnesota after two straight weeks in Ohio. And in a watered-down field, Dustin Johnson stands out.
He’s the obvious favorite, but you never know if he’ll boom or bust.
