Penn State vs Ohio State PA Bet Boosts

You just need some offense.

And not even a crazy amount, either. In fact, the total (64) for the big Penn State/Ohio State showdown on Saturday could go under by a decent amount, and there’s still a chance you could cash your wager.

So the Fox Bet boost for Saturday night’s matchup in State College is pretty tempting. If both Penn State and Ohio State score in every quarter, Fox Bet’s boosted wager will return five times your money.

So in a game that figures to draw plenty of action, that wager might be worth some consideration.

Touchdowns. Field goals. Even a safety. If both teams can put up at least some points in every quarter, you win.

But if you’re not quite as bullish on the offenses, there are plenty of other options too. Let’s take a quick look at some of the odds and available wagers at the best PA sportsbooks for the Buckeyes and Nittany Lions clash Saturday night in Beaver Stadium.

Indiana upset vs. Penn State prevents matchup of undefeated teams

Unfortunately, Saturday night’s game lost a little prestige after Indiana completed an epic comeback to beat Penn State last week with the help of a controversial call. And without fans in attendance, the frenzied White-Out crowd that some coaches believe is worth an extra seven to 10 points by itself will be missing too.

But the Nittany Lions always seem to play the Buckeyes tough, so it figures to be an intriguing matchup regardless, even if the stadium is empty and both teams aren’t undefeated. Fox Bet has the Buckeyes as 12-point favorites in the game, which will be broadcast at 7:30 p.m. Saturday on ABC.

The Nittany Lions are +320 on the moneyline. The Buckeyes are -400. And the game’s over/under is set at 64 points.

That total suggests oddsmakers do expect a good bit of offense. Ohio State scored 52 points last week in their opener with Nebraska behind a stellar day from Heisman Trophy candidate Justin Fields (20/21 for 276 yards and two TDs passing; 54 yards and one TD rushing).

And even though Penn State’s defense wilted late against Indiana, its offense actually performed pretty well, with the exception of a few turnovers. Nittany Lions quarterback Sean Clifford passed for 238 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for 119 yards and another touchdown on the ground.

Fox Bet has alternate lines available for Saturday’s Penn State game

Fox Bet has a number of other college football betting options for the game as well, including halftime and full-time bets with healthy odds. There are also alternate spreads and totals posted.

And over at DraftKings, new users can get 100-to-1 odds on either Ohio State or Penn State after opting in. DraftKings also has pricing on individual team props.

Penn State’s total is set at 24.5 points. Ohio State’s number is 37.5.

There are lines posted for quarters, halves and a first team to score prop as well.

Happy Valley betting options for Halloween night

So Halloween night will bring plenty of betting options to the Penn State/Ohio State showdown in Happy Valley.

Some people will lean toward the traditional bets. Others may chase a prop bet

And perhaps you’re even tempted by Fox Bet’s boosted wager that can return five times your money.

If each team somehow scores in every quarter, you win. And with a high total and two strong quarterbacks, it certainly could be something to consider.

You just need some offense
